Description
This is unpolished Thompsonite which I self-collected here in the Az desert. I have sliced it in half. it can be used as cabbing material to make jewelry or it can be polished as is for display. You get both halves.
In the photos and video I took it is wet to show you what it will look like polished as it is currently unpolished.
This is such a rare and unique piece as it has these amazing swirls of or bots of colors inside the rock. So cool!
Thomsonite is a rare zeolite formed in lava flows over 600 million years ago. When gases got trapped in the lava flow and turned into hollow pockets as the lava cooled and hardened. Over hundreds of thousands of years these pockets filled and solidified.
