This is a beautiful necklace that I handcrafted using an ancient fossil known as a nautilus. The nautilus is a marine mollusk that resides in a spiraled shell. It is a distant relative of squid, octopuses, and cuttlefish. The nautilus lived millions of years ago, dominating the ancient seas long before the dinosaurs.
